Manual trading workflows using spreadsheets resulted in inefficiencies and limited visibility. Requirements were defined for automation, centralized trade management, and real-time monitoring for high-frequency virtual item traders.
A full-stack architecture was designed using the MERN stack. A Next.js single-page application was developed for trade and inventory management, with a Node.js and Express REST API handling core business logic and bot communication.
MongoDB was implemented for scalable storage of user data, inventory, and trade history. WebSockets enabled real-time updates for trades, balances, and market data. External trading platforms were integrated via APIs.
